Nye County COVID relief Funding Program

This notice is for both residential and business customers of Round Mountain Public Utilities (RMPU) negatively impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic. Nye County has received funding to assist small businesses, and the general public that may cover costs incurred after the Declaration of Emergency was declared in the State of Nevada on March 16, 2020 during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

If you lost a job, suffered reduced hours, or had a decline in revenue for your business due to COVID-19 and are behind on your rent/mortgage/utility payments or cannot make current month's payments, assistance may be available directly through Public Programs or indirectly through Direct Utility Assistance.

Stop / Start Service

To sign up for new service or transfer your existing service, please come into the office to fill out a water/sewer application.   A $15.00 processing fee and $100.00 deposit will be collected at the time of sign up. (Deposit is refundable after 12 months of timely payments or when service is stopped - whichever comes first)
